Grown-ups can set a daily reading-time limit. Left alone, there isn't one — the app never nags for more time.

How the listening works
Reading Adventure Coach asks for the microphone so it can hear your child read. The speech is turned into text on your own device, using the recognition built into your phone or tablet, and it is used only to highlight the words on the page in front of them.
- The microphone is on only while a story is open — never in the background.
- No audio is ever recorded, saved, or uploaded. The recognised text is discarded when the page turns.
- If your device has no on-device recognition for your language, the story simply switches to Tap the words.
- An Allow online recognition setting exists for grown-ups who want the extra accuracy on some languages. It is off by default.
Free to start, one purchase at most
Most of the app is free. There is a single optional one-time unlock that adds the remaining two lands and their twenty stories — not a subscription, nothing to cancel, never charged again.
It lives in the Grown-ups' corner behind a parental gate, so nothing a child can reach asks them to buy anything. Payment is handled by the App Store or Google Play, never by us, and the unlock can be restored on a new device with the same store account.
Private by design
No advertising. No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking. Reader names, progress and settings are saved on the device and never sent anywhere, because there is no server for the app to talk to. Deleting the app deletes all of it. Read the full privacy policy.
